The Falls at Waterton (Townsite Campground)
Funny story about this Mile Zero Marker in Dawson Creek, BC...the group is trying very, very hard to ditch me and this try, they sent me to a totally different Mile Zero Marker. They went to one on the highway, which can accommodate many tourists. This one they sent me to, was right in the middle of town square. If I read the plaque correctly, THIS ONE is the original. The Mile Zero was moved to its current site. Haha - they didn't ditch me successfully, YET!
Here's my site at Sikanni River Campground, directly on the Sikanni River, on the AlCan Highway. (about 130 miles from Mile Zero - Dawson Creek).
On the way to the campground, this little black bear was just hauling his tail across the road, right in front of me.
You know, all this traveling sure tuckers a woman (or women plural) out...
That's all for now...we have to sit on the front porch of the office to get wi-fi and it's COLD. Brrrrrr.

Not sure what you did with your pics, but it's much better/bigger when you click on them now. I don't blame them one bit for trying to ditch you, just sayin'. =)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm... There seems to be a theme going on here. Wonder who will get to Alaska first? :)
