What's In A Name?

So, what's up with the blog's name - A Bacon Collar For Abby? Well, this little monster has been misbehaving a bit since her daddy died five months ago. I keep telling her, and she keeps not listening, that if she doesn't shape up, and do it quickly, I'm going to construct a collar for her out of bacon and stake her out smack dab in the middle of the Alaska wilderness.

I just don't know why she doesn't believe me. Brat.

    Good Luck on your trip. My wife and I did it last year as part of a Caravan with 16 others. I admire your courage, but you will enjoy it immensely. The scenery is awesome, and people all along the way are willing to help if need. Prices are high, but for a once in a lifetime challenge it is worth it.
